How to set your VanMoof to 32 km/h
- Get Moofie for iPhone from the App Store.
- Connect your bike. Turn on Bluetooth, stand next to your VanMoof and sign in.
- Open Top Speed. You'll find it on the Home screen, right under Assist.
- Tap 32 km/h. Your bike now assists up to 32 km/h. Tap 25 km/h to go back.

- EU and UK: e-bikes may only assist up to 25 km/h on public roads. A bike that assists faster counts as a speed pedelec, which usually needs registration, insurance and a helmet.
- Netherlands: a speed pedelec needs a moped licence plate, insurance, an AM driving licence and a helmet.
- Germany: above 25 km/h a bike is an S-Pedelec, which needs type approval, an insurance plate, an AM licence and a helmet.
- United States: many states allow Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes to assist up to 20 mph (32 km/h).
